AMG Petroenergy Group (AMG Group) was founded with a vision to become the preferred oil exploration and production company in Africa.
AMG has demonstrated its commitment to the participation of indigenous companies in the development of the upstream oil sector by successfully participating in the oil block bidding exercise of 2003-2005. AMG Group is part of the consortium that was successful in the acquisition of OML 325.
Since the conclusion of the 2005 Bid Round, AMG has pursued farm-in partnership opportunities with operating companies in Nigeria. Some of these negotiations are still ongoing and AMG has every hope for their success in the near future.
